Responsible for reviewing technical and functional specifications, analyzing business requirements, and designing and developing computer programs and systems. Developing, implementing, and deploying computer information systems and other customized applications and technical solutions pursuant to identified requirements. Coordinating the installation of computer programs and systems. Coding programs utilizing performance optimization tuning and coding techniques. Testing, debugging, maintaining, and monitoring computer programs and systems. Creating and executing user testing plans and scripts. Evaluating, maintaining, and/or revamping existing systems to improve work flow, and proposing improvements to systems and measures to maximize efficiency and quality. Designing system interfaces, creating custom solutions, programming, and providing production support. Training staff and users to work with computer systems and programs. Assisting in scheduling and coordinating projects, and working with Developers. Participating in creating content for software user manuals. Utilizing experience with C++, .NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET, ADO.NET, Visual Studio, Expression Blend, SQL server, AJAX, XML, NUnit, TypeMock, and Subversion. Position requires 50% national travel. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field plus five (5) years of experience in a related occupation.
